Events Diary : informs and reminds the user of daily activities, carer visits and upcoming appointments/birthdays. Time of day can be set in various modes for flexibility, from simple period of day (morning, afternoon) to exact time and date display
Reminders : regular, random and timed reminders can be accompanied with a sound or image
Newsfeeds : show 3 headlines for 20 seconds each minute it is selected as a feature, with a choice of newsfeeds from around the world
Video link and Facebook messaging : directly from Skype and Facebook, when internet connection is enabled
myhomehelper comes pre-installed on a tablet device that has been configured to run the system optimally from the moment that you turn it on. A simple set-up system can be accessed by family members and carers to tailor the system to suit individual needs via the myhomehelper website, from anywhere that has access to an internet connection - be that at home, work or even on holiday. It has been designed as an "always on" system and once set-up only needs to be maintained when new activities, appointments or photos etc. need adding. myhomehelper requires an internet connection.
