About Us

We believe in ageing well

The Helpful Things Company products have been selected to help anyone remain independent, be as active as possible, and enjoy life. Perhaps you are simply browsing to find new and fresh gift ideas for a loved one.

All our products are sourced from the best suppliers with years of experience. We are looking for the best, most helpful designs.

The Helpful Things Company was established in June 2013 so we are new, fresh, full of ideas - and growing fast. We are based in Oxford and have our distribution centre and customer service teams near Cambridge. We are very proud of the dedication we give to customer service - from first enquiry, product guidance and ordering through to professional packing and delivery. You can be confident that we have an excellent customer experience at the core of all we do.

Customers should always seek advice from your doctor about the suitability of any product on this site. We can't give medical advice but we do believe that all the products presented here are of the highest quality and from reputable sources.

Our focus is on helping families and at-home carers to promote living independently. We are happy to accept purchase orders from NHS, charities and other care sector organisations. Please contact us if you need more details.

We would like to hear from you, with ideas about what you would like to have and feedback on our products and service. We are constantly sourcing new products and if something you want is not shown here, let us know!
